The banjo plays well and sounds pretty dang good. The GT reso sounds better on the banjo as its unfinished on the inside Just lightly stained unlike the stock one. Stock resonator was signed by Earl and JD so I can't part with those. Its got a Gold Tone resonaator on it that I finished to match my parts banjo which has the resonator from this banjo on it now. Only thing non original is the resonator. Might have some med/lt strings to go with it too I don't use anymore. HSC and the original clear head go with it. Snuffy I 5/8 Bridge, spikes at 7 and 9, levis wide leather strap. Action was very low and buzzing so I shimmed the neck so I could run the rods nuetral. You can flip it over and good firm shake will get it off. While apart I fit the ring to the rim better. I swapped the clear head last year and put on a frosted. I would occasionaly pick this one but the tone didn't fit my tastes. I played it maybe 6 months and built a parts jo that suited me more and began to play it for the last 2.5 years.
